Parts of New England and New York got hit with a nasty ice storm on Thursday
that dropped trees over a large area. There are still thousands of people
waiting to get power restored, and some secondary roads are still blocked.
All this stuff is very visible, but I wonder what we'll see when the
sledding season opens in a couple weeks. I'd have to think that a lot of
trails are going to be blocked by downed trees and limbs, and question if
the clubs have the resources to clear those trails anytime soon. It might be
a good idea to carry a chainsaw on that first trail ride.

yes that is very true we just got power back Sunday night but I know a lot
of people that are still with out and a lot of roads that are still closed
due to trees being down.took the wheeler down a local trail and it was
impassable due to trees down need to get chainsaw out and start clearing its
going to take quite a bit of work to get all the trails ready so if you want
to ride do your part and get out and help your local clubs or don't bitch if
you don't help and your trails aren't rideable
