Guys,
If anyone is still on here....I've got 40MM carbs on my '01 Ski-Doo 800.
The needle jets don't have the normal grooves so that you can adjust them up
and down to fatten up the midrange. Is there a needle valve like that or
are
people shimming the things?

Never messed with flatslides - parts diagram indicates a 'packing' sits
underneath the clip. The roundslides had a nylon washer - maybe those could
be used as shims ?

They shim them to fatten up the mid range. Some of the performance Co's sell
'em
