Therefore, here is my Christmas greeting card for you, as you will find

NOTE: As I've changed ISP/server/domain since I past years posted my

Merry Christmas... good to see a few people still checking in.
We should probably make an effort to start some sled-related
discussions, just so the IP's don't drop RSS from their servers.

David
It seems that the IP's are dropping news servers altogether, not
individual groups.

Anyway, while I am still here, I will wish one and all a Merry
Christmas, and a Happy New Year...

Sled related: 4 trips so far, with no breakdowns (sled, or rider).
Not too bad for a couple of 10 year old selds, with 65 year old
riders, who have been out "bustin powder" in the stubble fields. :-)

That's true, but I would think even the "dedicated" news servers will
drop it if there's no activity.
Hopefully I'll get more than one ride in this year... hard to say right
now, things are busy at work and I have no time to work on sleds.

I've only got in a rough 20 mile scrape with the grandson on minimal snow.

I'm posting via free. teranews as my ISP dropped Usenet a long time ago.

And a happy new year to you all as well!!! Stay safe, ride smart.

Three have died in BC over the holidays - 1 head-on on an open lake at night
( go figure), 1 avalanche fatality, and 1 accident - not his fault. Lets
get the new year off to a better start shall we.......

One over the weekend here in MN. Two teens trying to pull a fishhouse out on
a lake with a sled. Sled, house in the drink, only one kid made it out.

HNY to you too Dave.

When I was a kid, we had a picture, on the wall in our kitchen, of an
old rag of a biplane stuck in a tree.
The famous caption said "Aviation, in itself is not inherently
dangerous; but to an even greater extent than the sea, it is terribly
unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity, or neglect." Fits for
snowmobiling, too... unfortunately.
