Scandik Widetrak,need some parts

hi all
i need some advise,i just had a surprise here when i got to my place
where my skidoo was during the summer time,,,i have been stolen.
the engine,503,carbs,,,and the chain case were stolen and we dont have
any insurance :-(((
i am looking for an chaincase with the reverse at least for the engine
i will try locally to find one but the chaincase we dont have,anyone
knows a place on the web that i could find it,at the best in canada
maybe??

Ah man, that really sucks!

They seem to have a good selection. Other than that, Google comes up with
some results and some forums:

Ouch, that will be harder to find. Most sled wrecking yards have older
sleds but you never know. Maybe a wrecked one will turn up.

The 503 is a very popular engine - used in most of the lower end touring
models with fan cooled engines. The chain case might be a bit harder to
find - I believe it is the one with two speeds plus reverse.

Well Randall
i just found an old 440 from an Everest ,carburator incluted :-)) for free.
i have the muffler but not the Y just atthe output of the head ,,,looks like
just on the Alpine 640.
i also have the original Everest chaine case,,i maybe able to fit it onthe
Scandik on a temporaly bases,,,
until i found the original 2 speed and 1 reverse chain case.

well i will have fun,,i just start the wood stove inthe garage

OMG! It lives!... FrankenSled! Just a bit o' lightning and you're set to
go ;>)

I don't how you'll make it work but hey, it'll be a cheap fix until you find
a suitable donor. Necessity is the mother of invention (and sheer
determination is the father!).

I FORGOT TO MENTION 'IT IS AN 20 INCHES WIDE TRACK.
it is important to mention it because of the gearing of the chaine case
