It looks as if we might have a movement afoot for retrying this.

I have participated in this event many moons ago and I would think that it
owuld be great for the sport.

Any comments?

What are you talking about? Is it some kind of crosso country race?

back in the 70's to early 80's there was a cross country race From Regina
Sask. to Minot North Dakota.

It was call the Regina Minot International 250. It was usually run in mid to
late Feb. I participated twice. The run was great fun and a good test of the
machines. Many factory teams were involved at the time.

Why it ended I was never sure, but I'm sure it had to do with insurance and
low snow conditions in the early 80's

It would be interesting to reignite the race to see how the new iron would
do.

Didn't there used to be one from Winnipeg to Grand Forks, or all the way
to Minneapolis, too?

Wes,

How did the sled run last weekend?
I got mine back up on sunday. But snow around Saskatoon is thinning
substantially!

I will most likely be heading north this weekend if circumstances allow.

See my new thread. We're supposed to have our Kinsmen meeting at the
lake and then ride in a rally. I hope I have a sled by then.
